High School Quiz Show®, GBH’s fast-paced, award-winning competition for teams of high school students in Massachusetts is celebrating its 15th Season and we want to mark the occasion with you!

Please note:

• This event is free to the public.
• Seating is limited; please RSVP as soon as possible.
• Audience members must be at least 7 years old; all minors must be accompanied by an adult.
• Registration does not guarantee seating in the studio audience (overflow will be seated in an adjacent theater featuring a live feed of the taping). Seating is first come, first serve and audiences will be seated according to production needs.
• We appreciate advance notice of any special accommodations by emailing us at highschoolquizshow@wgbh.org.

Oscar-winning director Alexander Payne talks to GBH's Executive Arts Editor Jared Bowen about his new film, “The Holdovers,” which opens in Boston on Friday, November 3rd. The film, a 70s period piece set over a winter break at a New England area prep school, focuses on the relationship among a cantankerous history teacher, Paul, his rebellious student, Angus, and the school’s head cook, Mary, who lost her son — a soldier recently killed in Vietnam.

Negotiations were suspended Wednesday between Hollywood studios and the SAG-AFTRA actors’ union, as the two sides were unable to come to a deal.

As a special guest on the GBH Kids-produced PBS KIDS series "Pinkalicious & Peterrific," cellist Yo-Yo Ma shares the power of music with a new generation of children.

The film is being screened at the Cinefest Latino Boston festival.
