GBH Climate and Environment Fund
Amplifying Climate and Environmental Issues
Since its inception, GBH has engaged its audiences around the most important and pressing issues facing Boston, the nation, and the world. The health and well-being of our planet, and the urgent need to mitigate the effects of climate change are areas of critical importance that GBH has long been committed to addressing.
The GBH Climate and Environment Fund supports programs across the organization that amplify climate and environmental issues with an eye toward illuminating practical, equitable, and sustainable solutions to the current climate crisis, both locally and nationally.
GBH Trustee Lynn Dayton and her husband Bruce launched the GBH Climate and Environment Fund with a lead challenge gift to encourage others to join them in growing the fund, which supports all aspects of the research, development and production of films, digital content, and educational and outreach activities.
"The effects of climate change are impacting all of us, and we believe everyone has a personal responsibility to do more. GBH and its programs reach and inspire millions of people all over the world, and we have always been proud to invest resources with GBH. We hope our philanthropy will motivate others to support this important work now and well into the future."Lynn Dayton, Vice Chair, GBH Board of Trustees
