Join us for our annual Beacon Circle Film Club this winter, featuring two fascinating films: NOVA’s What are UFOs? and AMERICAN EXPIRENCE’s The NAACP and its Architects. We invite you to save the date for Beacon Circle Night at Stories from Stage! Take a seat on the set of a live taping and enjoy magnificent and engaging storytelling with your fellow patrons. A reception with WORLD’s new Editor-in-Chief, Nina Chaudry will precede the taping. You’ll receive a formal invitation by email in early spring.

Patrons contributing $10,000 or more annually are also invited to join us for two exclusive events: a February dinner with Boston Speakers Series special guest, Admiral James Stavridis and a June reception with GBH President and CEO Susan Goldberg and her senior leadership team. Sticky Bun School 2025

Sticky Bun School with Chef Joanne Chang and Flour Bakery

Saturday, January 11, 11-12pm
Virtual

Sweeten your weekend with a special Saturday morning treat! Chef Joanne Chang, the renowned pastry chef and founder of Flour Bakery, will conduct a one-hour virtual baking class teaching you to make her warm, delicious sticky buns. Your ticket includes a baking kit with ingredients to make eight sticky buns, mailed directly to your home.

On Saturday, January 11 at 11am, you’ll join Joanne live in a Zoom virtual event and follow along as she demonstrates how to make her signature treats. She’ll share some baking tips with you. At the end of the class, she’ll answer some of your baking questions, too! Register by Friday, December 20 to secure your spot.

A Tea Tasting with Miss Scarlet

Calling all Miss Scarlet fans and tea enthusiasts! Put the kettle on, you’re invited to attend a delightful event experience. Join members of the cast and creative team of the beloved MASTERPIECE Mystery! series Miss Scarlet for a virtual tea tasting. By signing up for this event, participants will receive a kit containing five different teas to try alongside an incredible lineup of guests.

This private event will be held via Zoom and will feature Miss Scarlet writer Rachael New and Executive Producer Patty Lenahan Ishimoto. This talented panel will share stories of their experiences working on the show as they join you on this tea tasting journey. Register by Friday, January 10 to secure your spot.

Valentine’s Day Soirée

Come celebrate love with GBH! Bring a date or friend to a night of craft cocktails, local treats, and stories inspired by love on the theme of “What I did for Love”. Take a seat on the set of Stories from the Stage and enjoy stories on the extraordinary—and sometimes ridiculous—things our tellers have done for love. Hear stories of the passion, folly, and profound lessons learned. Make this a Valentine’s Day to remember!
