This daily watch-party will feature full episodes of WGBH’s The French Chef, plus James Beard Award nominee Tiffani Faison, Yankee magazine food editor Amy Traverso and other special guests, who will join us throughout the week to watch along in real-time and answer your questions and comments via social media. Julia Child Week will also feature interviews with celebrity chefs including Jody Adams, Marcus Samuelsson, and Chris Kimball about how Julia Child influenced their cooking and careers. You’ll also get rare, behind-the-scenes footage from Julia Child’s time spent in Provence, France in the 1970s, complete with expert commentary from Alex Prud’homme, the co-author of Julia Child’s memoir, My Life in France and The French Chef in America: Julia Child's Second Act, who is also a trustee of the Julia Child Foundation.
