Call The Midwife superfans probably already know that Season 11 will premiere in just a couple months (on March 20 at 8pm, to be exact). Midwifery Ultramarathon
Yes, technically you can catch up on 10 seasons of Call The Midwife, including 10 extra long holiday specials, before March 20 at 8pm. Not sure we recommend it (GBH Drama Editor Jackie Bruleigh watched 8 seasons in a month in order to cover Season 9, as part of her full time job, and even that was "emotionally exhausting") but if you’re just that hardcore, who are we to stop you? Your “training plan” is below, and you’ll notice that like all good Couch to 5k programs, we’ve built in a ramp up in intensity as the weeks go on and you get used to this volume of “training,” and a taper near the end so you’re fighting fit for the season 11 premiere. All that TV just too much for you? Don’t worry: your “training plan” consists of a few key episodes from each season to refresh your memory before the big day. A word of warning: because we've tended to emphasize the character comings and goings, there will be some… challenging weeks (no one ever said this show was all sunshine and rainbows, despite the cute babies). Take special care to prep your tissues and rehydration beverages (for the crying) on March 9 and 17. Oh, who are we kidding: just always have the tissues ready.
