On the latest Open Studio With Jared Bowen, we travel to the Peabody Essex Museum to learn about "Made It: The Women Who Revolutionized Fashion," an exhibit recognizing women's often-overlooked contributions to the fashion and design industry. From Mary Todd Lincoln’s seamstress to Elsa Schiaparelli and Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel, to experimental labels like Chromat, women designers have transcended genres and revolutionized ideas of identity since the dawn of fashion.

Watch: Jared joined Morning Edition this week to preview the exhibit.

Actor Denis O'Hare also joins the show to discuss his perspective on King Lear as part of Commonwealth Shakespeare Company’s digital series, The Actor’s Craft. O’Hare has had a long career on stage and in film and TV, winning a Tony Award for his performance in Take Me Out and a Drama Desk Award for his role in Sweet Charity. He is perhaps best known now for his recurring roles on the HBO series True Blood and Fox’s American Horror Story.

Watch: Jared discusses his interview with O'Hare on Morning Edition.
