Professor of Law and Director of the Health Law Concentration At Suffolk University Law School Renee Landers discussed the recent Supreme Court cases and Justice Kennedy's announcement yesterday that he will be retiring from the court. We opened the lines to get your thoughts on Kennedy's retirement announcement yesterday and the prospect of a conservative Supreme Court. The ACLU and the Suffolk County Sheriff’s department held a forum where the six candidates running for DA took their campaigns to the people who would be directly affected during their tenure: prisoners. Suffolk County Sheriff Steve Tompkins, Rahsaan Hall, Director of the Racial Justice Program for the ACLU of Massachusetts, and Andrea Cabral, who moderated the forum, joined us to talk about the event. Jill Medvedow, director of ICA, talked about the museum's newest exhibits. Congressman Seth Moulton called in to talk about the coastal resilience legislation that he’s introducing today. Rob Hochschild, Brian O’Donovan, and Brian McCreath joined us for our summer concert round table. -
