  • Brian R. Jacobson is a Ph.D. Candidate in Critical Studies at the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts and a member of the Visual Studies Graduate Certificate program. He is a graduate of the Master's program in Comparative Media Studies (CMS) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Appalachian State University. Brian is a 2008-2009 Humanities, Arts, Science, and Technology Advanced Collaboratory (HASTAC) Scholar. In 2007 he was a member of the Visual Culture research field of the Social Science Research Council's inaugural Dissertation Proposal Development Fellowship.
  • Brian James is program director for the Atlanta Lodge of The Theosophical Society and has previously held other elected positions both locally and regionally. He has been a member of The Theosophical Society in America since 2003. He has studied theosophy for 11 years.

  • Brian Klein is the Senior Staff Scientist at Vedanta Biosciences. He's a strong believer that microbial interventions may ameliorate illnesses that have so far eluded control. He also served as a postdoctoral fellow at the Forsyth Institute in the Lemon Lab until April 2017.
  • Brian Lies is the author and illustrator of the *New York Times* bestselling children's books *Bats at the Beach* and *Bats at the Library*. Most recently *Bats at the Library* was also named Indie Bound's Best Picture Book of 2008. Brian Lies was born and raised in Princeton, New Jersey. He attended Brown University, studying psychology and literature. After graduating, Brian decided to purse his childhood interest in art. He studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston before beginning a career in political illustration. His award-winning work appears regularly in children’s magazines and galleries around the country. In his free time, Brian’s hobbies include bicycling, woodworking, and tending a big vegetable garden behind the house. He also enjoys reading a lot, as it keeps his imagination going! Brian Lies currently lives on the South Shore of Massachusetts with his wife and daughter.
  • Brian Lynch, originally educated in Psychology went on to study the history of science in particular Astrology and the Mystery Schools associated with it. He has worked for many years as a consultant on projects related to education, alternate energy technology, medicine and Hollywood screen plays.
  • MacQuarrie is a general assignment reporter for the *Boston Globe* "City & Region" section. In 1999, MacQuarrie won a prize for Writing and Reporting from the National Headliner Awards. In addition, he was an embedded reporter during the US invasion of Iraq in 2003.
  • Brian McCreath produces and hosts CRB's Boston Symphony Orchestra broadcasts from Symphony Hall and Tanglewood, Executive Produces WCRB In Concert, and produces and hosts The Bach Hour. As Director of Production, he also oversees GBH Music productions from the Fraser Performance Studio and digital content on CRB's website.
  • Brian McGrory is the former editor of The Boston Globe. During Brian’s decade-long run, the Globe won three Pulitzer Prizes and was a finalist another dozen times in categories ranging from Public Service to Feature Photography. The news organization also amassed more than 240,000 digital-only subscribers, making it an industry leader with a growing newsroom. Prior to this, Brian worked as a nationally award-winning metro columnist, a White House correspondent, national correspondent, and general assignment reporter, all during a 34-year career at the Globe. He has authored five published books and serves on the boards of The Baltimore Banner, the News Leaders Association, and the World Editors Forum. He is also writing a regular column for The Boston Globe.
  • Brian Newman is the founder of Sub-Genre, a consulting company working with major brands and nonprofits to design and implement strategic marketing campaigns using films and new media. Brian has developed overall film strategy, business development and marketing strategies for major brands including Patagonia, Yeti Coolers, Levi’s and Vulcan Productions among others. Current and former clients include: Patagonia, developing film strategies and marketing and distribution for numerous films, including DamNation; The Fisherman’s Son, and Jumbo Wild; Sundance Institute on the Transparency Project; Vulcan Productions on sponsorships for Racing Extinction and We the Voters; Imprint Projects on festival strategy for two films for Levi’s; Yeti Coolers on media strategy and film distribution and marketing, including 60 shorts and the feature doc Charged; and several filmmakers on fundraising, distribution and marketing. Brian is also the producer of Love & Taxes, and executive producer of Shored Up, The Invisible World and Remittance. Brian has served as CEO of the Tribeca Film Institute, president of Renew Media and executive director of IMAGE Film & Video. Brian serves on the boards of Rooftop Films, Muse Film & Television and IndieCollect and the advisory board of the Camden International Film Festival. He was born in North Carolina and has an MA in Film Studies from Emory University.
  • Brian O’Donovan is a broadcaster, writer, and presenter, and lives in Cambridge, MA. Born and raised in Clonakilty West Cork in a family of 9, O'Donovan received his BA from University College Cork in 1978 before heading to England. He then journeyed to Boston and grad school at Emerson College. In Boston, at a music jam-session, he was introduced to Lindsay Henes. They married in August of 1981. They live in Cambridge, MA and have four grown children: Aoife, Ciaran, Aidan, and Nuala and two grandchilden, Ivy Jo Jacobsen of Brooklyn, NY, and Nomi O'Donovan of Denver, CO.
