  • Annie B. Copps is the senior editor of food for Yankee Magazine. Copps oversees the magazine's food coverage, both as an editor and contributor of feature stories and columns. Prior to Yankee, she served as food editor of Boston Magazine and features editor of Concierge and was widely known for her work as host of WBZ radio's Connoisseurs' Corner and WTKK's Table Talk with Annie Copps. As a television producer, Copps made her mark with two popular PBS series, Cooking with Todd English and Julia Child's Kitchen, where she was an assistant to the legendary grande dame of French cuisine. She has also appeared as a guest on NBC's Todayshow. Before her media career, Copps honed her skills as a cook at several notable Boston-area restaurants, including Olives, Jasper's, The Harvest, and Michela's.
  • Annie Barrows graduated from UC Berkeley and became an editor of art criticism, textbooks, a fiction and poetry magazine, short stories, and books. She has written many adult and children's books.
  • Annie Sandoli currently serves as a Retail Business Training Manager at More Than Words (MTW), a leadership and employment training program that empowers youth who are in the foster care system, court involved, homeless or out of school to take charge of their lives by taking charge of a business. Annie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Thought and Political Economy from UMass Amherst and a Master of Liberal Arts in Journalism from Harvard University.

  • Annie Tuan started cycling in the city after being encouraged to by a roommate and fell in love with how freeing it was. She was one of many who were galvanized to get involved after two tragedies in Cambridge. As she learned more about the issues, she was amazed by how even small infrastructure changes could reduce the potential for and severity of crashes. She ultimately wants to see a full network built out that will allow anyone interested to ride safely and comfortably.
  • Annie Valva is Director of Research & Development for WGBH Interactive. Valva has over 15 years experience in developing interactive media, including broadband applications, enhanced TV, Web sites, and CD-rom/ DVDs. As Vice President of Content and Technology Integration for Pearson Broadband in London, she oversaw the development and launch of broadband services to primary school children throughout the U.K. Annie spent six years as Director of Technology for WGBH Interactive where she both managed the interactive technology team and produced prototypes for emerging digital platforms. She has worked extensively with high tech companies in order to develop partnerships that showcase high quality content across multiple distribution platforms. Annie earned her Masters in Educational Technology from Harvard University and received her BA in Community Studies and Photojournalism at the University of California, Santa Cruz.
  • Annie Julia Wyman is a graduate student in the Harvard Department of English, where she studies comedy. She is a former editor at McSweeney's and the former publisher of the American Reader. Her writing has appeared widely in print and online.
  • Anosh Irani was born and brought up in Bombay, India. He moved to Vancouver in 1998. His first novel, *The Cripple and His Talismans*, was published by Raincoast Books in 2004.. His second novel, *The Song of Kahunsha*, was published in 2006 by Doubleday Canada. It was chosen for CBC Radios Canada Reads in 2007. His first play, *The Matka King*, premiered at the Arts Club Theatre Company, Vancouver, in October 2003. His next play, *Bombay Black*, was produced in January 2006 by Cahoots Theatre Projects and was the winner of 4 Dora Mavor Moore Awards including for Outstanding New Play. He is working on a new play, *My Granny the Goldfish*, for Canadian Stage.
  • Anouar Majid is founding chair and professor of English at the University of New England and the author of *Freedom and Orthodoxy: Islam and Difference in the Post-Andalusian Age*, *Unveiling Traditions: Postcolonial Islam in a Polycentric World*, and *Si Yussef*, a novel. He is also co-founder and editor of *Tingis*, a Moroccan-American magazine of ideas and culture.
  • Anthony Brooks brings more than 30 years of experience in public radio, working as a producer, editor, reporter, and host for WBUR and NPR. Before becoming WBUR’s senior political reporter, Brooks was co-host of Radio Boston, WBUR’s local news and talk show. For many years, Brooks worked as a Boston-based reporter for NPR, covering regional issues across New England, including politics, the economy, education, criminal justice, and urban affairs. Brooks also has been a frequent fill-in host for NPR’s On Point and Here & Now, produced by WBUR.
  • Anthony Cohen is an historian, author, and explorer of the American past. He has twice walked routes of the Underground Railroad in 1996 and 1998 and will chronicle his third journey as a documentary film titled, *Patrick & Me*, to be released in 2011. Cohen has served as consultant to the National Parks Conservation Association, Maryland Public Television, and NASA and trained Oprah Winfrey for her role as Sethe in the film Beloved. He is Founder of The Menare Foundation, Inc., a non-profit preserving the legacy of the Underground Railroad, and is Director of the Button Farm Living History Center, a 40-acre farm in Germantown, MD depicting the story of slavery and the Underground Railroad. He received his B.A. in American Studies from American University, and currently makes his home outside of Washington, D.C.
