  • Alexandra Vacroux is Executive Director of the Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies at Harvard University. Her scholarly work addresses many Russian and Eurasian policy issues and she teaches popular courses on the comparative politics of Eurasia and post-Soviet conflict.
  • Dr. Alexandre Y. Mansourov is an associate professor at at the Department of Regional Studies at the Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies in Honolulu, Hawaii. As a Northeast Asian expert he focuses primarily on the securities of the Korean Peninsula. Dr. Mansourov was a visiting fellow at Brookings Institution's Center for Northeast Asian Policy Studies and was a faculty member of the Department of Regional Studies at the College of Security Studies. He earned his Ph.D. in political science from Columbia University, B.A. in international relations from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) in Russia, and advanced diploma in Korean studies from the Kim Il Sung National University in Pyongyang.
  • Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a politician, educator, and political activist. On June 26, 2018, she won the Democratic primary in New York's 14th congressional district covering parts of the Bronx and Queens in New York City, defeating the incumbent Congressman, Democratic Caucus Chair Joe Crowley, in what has been described as the biggest upset victory in the 2018 midterm-election season. Ocasio-Cortez is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America and has been endorsed by various politically progressive organizations and people.
  • Alexandros P. Mallias was born in 1949 in Stemnitsa, Arcadia. He graduated with a degree in Economics from the University of Athens, with post-graduate studies in Geneva. Alexandros P. Mallias, Greece's Ambassador to the United States, presented his credentials to President Bush in October 2005. Joining the Greek Foreign Service in 1976, Ambassador Mallias has been at the forefront of Greece's stabilizing role in the Balkans. He has served as Director of the Southeastern Europe (Balkan Affairs) Department at the Foreign Ministry in Athens, as Ambassador to Albania, Head of the first Mission in FYROM, and as Head of the European Community Monitor Mission Regional Office in Sofia. He also served in Libya and at the Greek Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York, as First Counselor for Political Affairs.

  • Alexis Dudden is an Associate Professor of History and Director of Humanitarian Studies at the University of Connecticut. She is the author of Japan's Colonization of Korea: Discourse and Power (2005), Troubled Apologies Among Japan, Korea, and the United States (2008) and numerous articles in edited volumes and journals such as Partisan Histories: The Past in Contemporary Global Politics, Japanese Studies and The Journal of Pacific Asia. Dudden has previously taught history at Connecticut College and received fellowships from Harvard University's US-Japan Fellowship Program, the American Historical Association and the Japan Foundation. She holds a PhD and MA in history from the University of Chicago.
  • Alexis Frederick-Frost is a graduate of the Master of Fine Arts program at the Center for Cartoon Studies in White River Junction, Vermont. His book, *Adventures in Cartooning: How to Turn Your Doodles Into Comics*, written with James Sturm and Andrew Arnold, was the recipient of numerous awards, including Booklist's Top Ten Art Books for Kids, School Library Journal's Best Book of the Year, and the Library Media Connection's "Best of the Best." Building on the success of* Adventures in Cartooning*, Frederick-Frost has partnered once again with Sturm and Arnold for its sequel, *Adventures in Cartooning: Activity Book*, which allows budding artists to doodle their way through the activities and save the day with comics.
  • Alex is a certified special event professional, an emmy-award-winner and produces and manages a diverse mix of programs, events and marketing campaigns across the country for tourism, hospitality, non-profit groups, government organizations and fortune 500 companies. He works as the senior director of marketing for (add)ventures, a multidisciplinary brand culture and communications firm with offices in RI, Miami and New York. Being very active in the community, he serves as Chair and Commissioner for the Providence Tourism Council, Board of Directors for Rhode Island Pride, International Live Events Association and the National LGBTQ Task Force. He is also the former LGBTQ liaison to the city of Providence and has produced the last three mayoral inaugurations. As a gay man of Cuban descent who is bilingual, Gorriarán is proud to be an ambassador of Providence and its diversity.

  • Dr. Arauz Bouedreau's research interests focus on determining effective means to reduce health care disparities for vulnerable children through the structure of health care systems and provider level interventions. Currently she is studying how health disparities can be addressed through child development. Dr. Arauz Bouedreau practices as a primary care pediatric provider at MGH Chelsea HealthCare Center. She received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School and a Masters in Public Health from Harvard School Public Health. She has completed the Harvard Pediatric Health Services Research Fellowship and the Commonwealth Fund/Harvard University Fellowship in Minority Health Policy.
  • Dr. DeMaria serves as medical director of the Bureau of Infectious Disease Prevention, Response and Services in the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. He is also the state epidemiologist for Massachusetts. He is a graduate of Boston University and Harvard Medical School. He trained in internal medicine at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York and in infectious diseases at Boston City Hospital and the Boston University School of Medicine. Prior to joining the Department of Public Health in 1989, he was an infectious diseases consultant in private practice and prior to that on the staff of The Maxwell Finland Laboratory for Infectious Diseases and Section of Infectious Diseases, Boston City Hospital and Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. DeMaria is a fellow of the Infectious Diseases Society of America and serves on committees of the Massachusetts Medical Society and the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America, and on the boards of the Massachusetts Public Health Association and The Public Health Museum.
