Susan Rosen
Vice President and General Counsel
Susan Rosen is responsible for all legal matters affecting GBH, including all aspects of the production contracting process and the negotiation and administration of national collective bargaining agreements with actors, writers, and musicians. She also oversees the GBH Media Archives and Library and the Royalties department.
Rosen joined the GBH Business and Legal Affairs department in 1994 as Assistant General Counsel and was promoted to Deputy General Counsel in 1996. In those positions, she was the primary counsel for several national series, including MASTERPIECE, NOVA, Antiques Roadshow and the Media Library and Archives, responsible for legal and other related matters concerning co-production, licensing, and distribution deals, and production for broadcast and digital platforms.
Prior to joining GBH, Rosen was a litigator at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison in New York and several other firms in New York and Boston. She has been a speaker at the American Association of Museums Conference and at Cardozo School of Law. Rosen holds a JD from Cardozo School of Law where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Cardozo Law Review, and an AB in History from Bowdoin College. She is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and New York and select federal courts.
