Steve Yarbrough

Steve Yarbrough was born in the Delta town of Indianola, Mississippi, and now lives with his wife and their two daughters in Massachusetts, where he teaches at Emerson College. His books include *The End of California*, *Prisoners of War* (a finalist for the 2005 PEN/Faulkner Award), and *Oxygen Man* (winner of the 1999 California Book Award). His recent fiction has also been published in England, Holland, and Poland.
