Robin Preiss Glasser has illustrated such bestsellers as *America: A Patriotic Primer*, *A is for Abigail*, and *Our Fifty States*, all by Lynne Cheney; *Alexander*, *Who's Not (Do You Hear Me? I Mean It!) Going to Move* and *Super-Completely and Totally the Messiest*, both by Judith Viorst; *Tea for Ruby* by Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York; and *Daddy's Girl* by Garrison Keillor, among others. In 2005, she collaborated with Jane O'Connor to create a picture book about a little girl named Nancy who believes MORE is always better when it comes to being fancy. Upon publication, *Fancy Nancy *skyrocketed to #1 on the *New York Times* bestseller list, going on to sell hundreds of thousands of copies and kicking off a series of *Fancy Nancy* books including, *Fancy Nancy and the Posh Puppy *and, most recently, *Fancy Nancy and the Fabulous Fashion Boutique*. Kirkus Reviews praised the series, noting, "Nancy is a hoot and her fashion-first message will resonate with many budding divas." Formerly a soloist with the Philadelphia Ballet, Preiss Glasser currently lives in Newport Beach, CA.
