R. Wayne Woodson

founder, Voices of Atlanta Choral Ensembles

R. Wayne Woodson's formal music training culminated in a bachelor of arts degree in music from Morehouse College in Atlanta. He has done graduate study in voice performance at New England Conservatory and graduate study in choral conducting at the University of South Florida. His voice teachers have included Mel Foster, Uzee Brown Jr., Elisabeth Colson, Helen Hodam, and Mark Schnaible. He has studied conducting with David Morrow, Richard Zielinski, and Robert Summer.
