Accessibility Analyst
Parker combines technical skill and a deep interest in communication modalities. Parker received their bachelor’s degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Electrical and Computer Engineering, where their research focused on analog microelectronics and assistive technology. Parker has worked on a variety of assistive technology projects including refreshable braille displays, augmentative and alternative communication, and user experience design. Parker is certified in braille transcription by the Library of Congress. Prior to joining NCAM, Parker worked at Suffolk University and Harvard University, creating accessible course materials, demonstrating assistive technology, and testing software in accessibility guidelines.
