Nahir Torres

Program Officer

Nahir Torres, Program Officer, joined the Hyams Foundation in 2012 with a background in access to educational opportunities for Boston teens and positive youth development. Prior to coming to Hyams, she was a Program Officer for Education at The Boston Foundation (TBF). She is an active member of the Social Justice Funders Network and is a member of the national Communities for Just Schools Fund.  In July of 2017, Nahir was sworn in as a member of Massachusetts' first-ever Latino Advisory Commission to the Governor.
