Meg Stone, Executive Director of the abuse prevention and empowerment self-defense organization IMPACT Boston, lives in Cambridge, MA with her partner, Mal. As a renowned author with numerous awards for her writings over the past 30 years, she has been published in Huffington Post, Newsweek, Washington Post, Boston Globe, Dame, and Ms. Stone's most recent work, 'The Cost of Fear: Why Most Safety Advice Is Sexist and How We Can Stop Gender-Based Violence' continues her life-long mission to encourage the world to act safely and in alignment with societal progress.
