Mario Livio

Astrophysicist and Author of numerous popular science best-sellers

Mario Livio, Ph.D., astrophysicist (Hubble Space Telescope until 2015) and best-selling author of eight books, including 'The Golden Ratio', 'Brilliant Blunders', and 'Galileo', and has published more than 500 scientific articles, significantly contributing to topics ranging from cosmology, supernova explosions, and black holes to extrasolar planets and the emergence of life in the universe.

Dr. Livio has been featured in several NOVA programs, including one based on one of his books. Dr. Livio is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
