Maia Hallward

Maia Hallward received her PhD in international relations from American University’s School of International Service, with concentrations in international peace and conflict resolution and critical geopolitics. She lived and worked in Israel, the Palestinian Territories and Jordan for four years. Hallward’s research and teaching draw on experience in the Middle East, with a particular emphasis on Israeli and Palestinian peace and justice movements, the role of identity in conflict, and the intersection between religion and politics.
