Kris Hooks

Kris Hooks is the editor-in-chief of the Boston Globe's Money, Power, Inequality team, which focuses on examining the racial wealth gap in Greater Boston. Kris was previously an assistant metro editor at the Globe, covering criminal justice, courts, and city hall. Before moving to Boston, Kris was a news editor at the NPR affiliate in Sacramento, California, where he covered city and state government, education, housing, and homelessness. He has also taught a course on Race & Gender in the Media as an adjunct professor at Sacramento City College.
