Ken Wear developed a belief system called Rational Theism. Rational Theism embraces deity, and acceptance of deity is fundamental to this conviction. His central point is that the body houses a spirit that has had both prior and the prospect of future existence in a physical body. Wear's training was in physics and engineering, and he worked for years in space-related research. A broken marriage and heart attack led him to apply the same clear thinking that he used in his career to all aspects of his life. His motive for writing is the hope that his traumas and the research that followed will provide others with the information his family background did not provide him. He is now over 70 and wants to share what he knows.
