Kat joined WGBH's team as a production assistant for Greater Boston and loves all forms of storytelling and all things digital.
After graduating from the University of Washington in Seattle, she spent a summer in Phnom Penh reporting for The Cambodia Daily, writing health and business stories. In the past, she helped NBC cover the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, interned with The Seattle Times' online team and penned a weekly food column for the Seattle Weekly. She also created a media room for Allrecipes.com and started a news-magazine show at her college that airs across Washington state.
