Josefina Casper is a spring 2025 intern at GBH News, covering education in Boston Public Schools, primarily through radio stories. She is passionate about covering public education inequities — something she witnessed firsthand.

A senior at Brandeis University, she studies anthropology, Latin American, Caribbean, Latinx studies, and journalism. Previously, she was a publishing intern at La Libre in Buenos Aires, where she realized she wanted to create stories rather than publish them. She also reports for the Waltham Times, writing short features. In her free time, she enjoys drawing cartoons, being a DJ, and making vlogs for friends.
