John Leary

Founder of Mother Trees

John Leary is the Founder of Mother Trees, He has dedicated his life helping communities around the world to design and implement landscape restoration programs that rehabilitate farms and restore forest ecosystems. John has extensive experience living among the rural poor in Sub-Saharan Africa and deep knowledge of international agricultural development. He speaks three languages and has lived and worked in fourteen developing countries. John has created innovative training approaches that empower farmers to rise out of poverty, including award winning programs that are currently in use throughout the developing world. He has overseen the planting of over 250 million trees!
