Jim Aloisi

Jim Aloisi is a lecturer on Urban Transportation Planning and Policy at MIT, and a former Transportation Secretary of Massachusetts where he led reforms on transparency through the use of data. His work on sustainable mobility includes the development of a descriptive framework for cities and communities that was adopted by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 37105:2019. Jim has authored books including The Big Dig, and sits on the Board of TransitMatters.
