Jacob Garcia

Jacob Garcia is a Producer with GBH’s Open Studio and member of the GBH News arts and culture team. Born in New York, raised in Jersey and (genuinely) educated in Florida, he aims to plant his feet firmly in Boston’s expansive arts scene. He got his start in nonprofit media working with Robert Reich to defeat inequality, which has always been a focus in his work.

Outside of GBH, you’ll find him either eating pasta in the North End, hunting for the next good concert or thrifting to save the planet. Potential collaborators can reach him at jacob_garcia@wgbh.org.
