Fred Seibert

creative director and co-founder, Next New Networks

Fred Seibert is Creative Director and co-founder of Next New Networks, overseeing the creative direction of the company's programming and packaging. Additionally, Fred Seibert is a partner in Frederator Studios, founded in 2000 to package, build, and produce media properties. He is currently the executive producer of six animated series on Nickelodeon's networks: *The Fairly Oddparents*, *ChalkZone*, *My Life as a Teenage Robot*, *Nextoons: the Nicktoons Film Festival*, *Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! *(with Susan Miller), and *Random! Cartoons*. At the end of 2005, Frederator Studios launched Channel Frederator, the world's first cartoon podcast, which is now part of Next New Networks. Fred was the first employee and creative director of MTV, and became the first television consultant to introduce the concept of branding TV channels. Later, with his partner, Alan Goodman, he created the idea of "oldies" television with Nick-at-Nite, and named and positioned Comedy Central. In 1992, Seibert began a five-year stretch as president of Hanna-Barbera Cartoons, Inc., where under his direction the studio launched its most successful slate of hits in 15 years, including Cartoon Network's *The Powerpuff Girls* and *Dexter's Laboratory*.
