Erik Nordin
Chief Technology Officer
Erik Nordin is the Chief Technology Officer at GBH. In this role, Erik directs the strategic design, implementation, acquisition, management, and maintenance of the enterprise-wide technology infrastructure. He leads the Engineering, Product, Design, Project Management, Infrastructure, Software Engineering, and Production Group teams, ensuring that each unit contributes to GBH's mission of public service and the delivery of exceptional content to its audience.
Erik oversees day-to-day technical operations while also engaging in long-term planning to ensure that GBH's technical infrastructure and operations are aligned with future needs.
Erik joined GBH in 2016, a pivotal year marked by the spectrum auction and the growth of GBH's joint master control service, PMM. Since then, he has held various leadership positions within the technology department, including interim Co-CTO, showcasing his versatility and leadership.
He began his career in the financial services sector, advancing through roles in business analysis and project management at both John Hancock and Bank of America.
Erik holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Boston University and a Master's degree in Finance from Bentley University.
