A graduate of Rice University and Princeton, Eric Kuhne is the owner and founder of CivicArts/Eric R. Kuhne and Associates, a research and design firm dedicated to reunifying civic arts, landscape, and architecture. CivicArts/Eric R. Kuhne and Associates works on both mixed-use and specialized projects on four continents, from urban regeneration schemes to entire city masterplans. Wherever it builds, CivicArts integrates architecture, landscape, urban, interior and industrial design to create an aesthetic that celebrates the cultural ethos of its hosts. Kuhne lectures widely on the evolution of retail, the revolution in the workplace, festive civic life, and the development of new towns built upon his research principles.
