Emma Obregon Dominguez

GBH News intern

Emma Obregon Dominguez is a journalist, historian, and fall 2024 intern with GBH News. She is a senior at Boston University, studying History, Public Health, and Biology. Emma is also part of the university’s Kilachand Honors College.

She previously worked as a summer correspondent for The Boston Globe, where she covered health-related stories. Emma has also written for the Boston Political Review, a student-run political publication, and Migration Tales, a nonprofit focused on sharing immigrant stories. There she focused on reporting on underrepresented communities, a topic close to her heart, as she is an immigrant from Guatemala. In her free time, she loves going to concerts, reading historical non-fiction books, and exploring the city.
