Managing Editor

Ellen London is the Managing Editor for GBH News, where she leads operations and story integration across digital, TV, and radio platforms for our growing newsroom. She has held several other leadership roles at GBH having previously co-led a women-owned and operated production company in New York City, where she got her start working in financial news. A Maine native, London attended Colby College, where she studied English, Latin and political science, and also holds a Master’s degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. A Henry Becton Fellow and Lovejoy Award Recipient, her work has been recognized with numerous awards including a regional Edward R. Murrow Award for Excellence in Innovation.
