Edward Eigen

Edward Eigen teaches history at the Princeton University School of Architecture. His most recent work concentrates on the theory and practice of historical criticism in scholarly, religious, and antiquarian contexts. In Fall 2009 he staged a conference entitled “On Accident" examining alternate approaches to writing history. He is currently completing a book on 19th-century architecture and science entitled *Constructing the Laboratory*.
