Edo Berger is a Professor of Astronomy at Harvard University and Distinguished Visiting Research Chair at the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics. He researches a wide range of explosive astrophysical phenomena, including compact object mergers, gamma-ray bursts, tidal disruption events, superluminous supernovae, and other optical transients, as well as magnetic activity in sub-stellar objects (brown dwarfs and exoplanets).
