Dr. Alice Colegrove serves as the Director of Homeless Youth Services at the MA Executive Office of Health and Human Services. With over 25 years of dedicated experience in public health, housing, street outreach, and behavioral health, she is a leading voice in Massachusetts’s efforts to prevent and end youth homelessness.
A passionate advocate for social justice, Alice leverages data-driven approaches and aligns best practices to drive equitable systems transformation. Her commitment to authentic consumer engagement stems from a decade spent in street outreach and extensive collaboration with local and state-level youth action boards.
Alice holds a Doctorate in Public Health from Boston University, where her doctoral research focused on housing solutions for young adults experiencing homelessness. She has played a pivotal role in local and state government as a lead co-author for essential documents such as the Massachusetts State Plan to End Youth Homelessness, the Boston Plan to End Youth Homelessness, and the Massachusetts DYS (Juvenile Justice) Strategic Plan to Improve Housing Stability. Her work reflects a deep dedication to improving the lives of vulnerable youth and creating lasting societal change.
