Daniel H. Rothman,

Professor of Geophysics at MIT

Professor of Geophysics, MIT; Co-director of Lorenz Center. Dr. Rothman’s work has resulted in fundamental advances in subjects ranging from seismology and fluid flow to biogeochemistry and paleobiology. He has also made significant contributions to research in statistical physics. Daniel Rothman is a Fellow of the American Physical Society and the American Geophysical Union and is the recipient of the 2016 Levi L. Conant Prize from the American Mathematical Society
