Dabney Hollis, the publisher of Atlanta Woman magazine, has developed a reputation for building relevant value and increasing public awareness for businesses and their markets. During the early stages of her career at Turner Broadcasting, Inc., she demonstrated her management ability as CNN TV director of advertising and promotion, overseeing all aspects of marketing and strategic partnerships. Later, as senior account executive at WAGA-TV, she was responsible for a $14.8 million annual advertising budget and was credited for tremendously increasing revenues as well as selling the largest sports package at FOX5. She continued her varied experience in endeavors such as senior marketing consultant and interim vice president of marketing for WebMD and the G8 Summit host committee director of projects, acquiring a unique ability to articulate corporate strategy, drive business value and ultimately propel ventures to success. In her role as publisher of Atlanta Woman magazine, Dabney brings a tremendous combination of strategic, analytical and change management skills that allow her to foster innovation and create positive momentum. She continues to advance the magazine as the top resource for professional and civic-minded women in all stages of their corporate or entrepreneurial careers. Dabney is active throughout the community as a board member of the Girl Scout Council of Northwest Georgia, past president of the Alzheimer’s Society of Atlanta, market and benefactor chair of the High Museum Wine Auction, and chair of the 2007 Lovett School auction, among many others. She was awarded the Outstanding Volunteer Award at the Girls Outdoor Adventure for Leadership, was named Volunteer of the Year for the St. Mary’s School, and was featured in Swim With the Dolphins, a book on businesswomen by Connie Glaser.
