Accessibility Analyst
Beth Decker is where creativity meets accessibility. Having studied Animation and Motion Media, and Hearing and Deafness, at Emerson College well as Special Education at Northern Vermont University, they know that the best approach is the accessible approach. From early in their career they have had a passion for captions, and their blend of creativity and accessibility have led them to become a skilled audio description writer at NCAM. Through their experience as a special education paraeducator, they understand the need for practical and functional solutions to communication and access challenges. Beth is thrilled by discovering accessibility problems in website design, functional architecture, and navigating the difficulties of creating accessible code or working with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC.)
