Annie Shreffler is the Audience Impact Producer for GBH News, devoted to ensuring GBH’s journalism serves the public in New England. By organizing community listening sessions, constructing calls to action and hosting talk back events, Annie strives to bring audiences we hope to serve closer to newsroom staff so that we can tell the most important stories together.

Annie is the former producer of GBH’s Forum Network, a video archive of thought leaders speaking in the Boston region. She got her start at GBH in The Lab, conducting a national LGBTQ crowdsourcing project with AMERICAN EXPERIENCE for the 2010 film, “Stonewall Uprising.” Annie has an MA in Digital/Urban Reporting from the Newmark Graduate School of Journalism, CUNY. She wrote “Crowdsourcing: A Field Guide from WNYC,” based on her 2008 financial crisis reporting project, “Your Uncommon Economic Indicators,” with Brian Lehrer at WNYC.
