Lawrence City Council to hold vote of no confidence in mayor DePeña as he faces criminal charges
DePeña was indicted in federal court in August on 11 counts of wire fraud and money laundering allegations involving more than $1.5 million in COVID small-business loans. He's expected to be arraigned on 15 state charges of wire tapping and witness intimidation next week. -
