One current president and one former president will meet in Georgia tonight, June 26, to debate America’s future in the first presidential debate of the 2024 election season.
President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump will go live at 9 p.m. Eastern Time in a debate moderated by CNN’s Jake Tapper and Dana Bash.
The debate is also breaking customs: It’s rare for two candidates to square off before the parties’ national conventions, planned for later this summer, to official nominate a candidate.
