Donald Trump is back in the headlines for sharing content that appears to promote violence against his rivals — both legal and political. This time, the former president shared a video on social media of a pickup truck with a decal that depicts President Joe Biden hog-tied in the truck’s bed.
Some news organizations have decided not to show the video in their coverage, in fear of inadvertently promoting the violent message. Others have shown the video, with a warning. What is the right call?
NPR media correspondent David Folkenflik and Boston Globe New Hampshire and Rhode Island editor Lylah Alphonse give their takes on the issue, as well as Israel's intention to ban Al Jazeera in the middle of the war in Gaza.
