Two years since his last visit — and just after he gave the state's storied first-in-the-nation primary the cold shoulder — President Joe Biden met with supporters in New Hampshire this week. And he received a pretty warm welcome, even though many Granite Staters had bristled at Biden's attempt to downgrade New Hampshire's primary status in the current election cycle. For his part, Biden struck a tone that was grateful if not contrite, thanking the organizers of a write-in campaign that helped him avoid embarrassment and win a commanding victory — despite his name not appearing on the Democratic primary ballot.
