Many current and prospective community college students in Massachusetts are now eligible to attend free of charge, thanks to the new state program MassReconnect. The program, which was created in August as part of the state budget, covers tuition, fees and other related expenses for many Massachusetts residents ages 25 and older who do not already have a degree.

As the first class of students begins to benefit from the program, Adam Reilly sits down with Jackie Jenkins-Scott, the interim president of Roxbury Community College, to talk about the impacts she is already seeing.
