A month and a half ago, Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren balked on GBH's Boston Public Radio when asked if President Joe Biden should pick Kamala Harris to run with him again in 2024. The story blew up, then faded away after Warren issued a clarification saying she fully supported Biden's and Harris's reelection. But now it's back with a vengeance, thanks to CNN reporting that found Warren has called Harris twice to apologize and Harris still hasn't called her back.

Whether Warren intended to jab at Harris is debatable, but one thing is certain: Harris has been under scrutiny in recent months, and the portraits painted of her performance as vice president have generally been unflattering. Adam Reilly is joined by GBH News' Callie Crossley and the Boston Globe's Renée Graham to discuss what's driving that negativity, the role Harris may have played in the Democrats' stronger-than-expected performance in the midterms, and whether the negative narrative surrounding Harris might also reflect deep-seated anxiety about Biden.
