Massachusetts residents are experiencing mixed feelings about returning to in-person work. As the COVID-19 restrictions continue to lift due to declining case numbers, some residents believe state politicians should push for a return-to-work initiative. At the same time, some are not as eager to return to the office.
Talking Politics Host Adam Reilly is joined by Boston Globe Business Columnist Shirley Leung and Monica Tibbits-Nutt, executive director of the 128 Business Council, to discuss Massachusetts' workforce and what in-person work could look like for employees.
Plus — GBH News' Saraya Wintersmith and Mike Deehan join Reilly to weigh in on the rise in gas prices across the state and how a Beacon Hill gas tax suspension bill was met with resistance. They also discuss the Boston City Council's lukewarm response to Mayor Michelle Wu's efforts of limiting residential protests.
