Update: It's official. Attorney General Maura Healey declares for governor
Attorney General Maura Healey is expected to announce her candidacy for the Democratic nomination for governor tomorrow morning, according to sources in the Democratic party.
Healey's campaign would neither confirm nor deny that Healey is contacting political allies to tell them she is running, but one Democrat already in the race for governor, Boston Sen. Sonia Chang-Díaz, said in an email that she welcomes Healey to the race even though they differ on some public policies.
