What if the president shirks a tenet foundational to the democratic process, and doesn't peacefully transition power if he loses to Joe Biden?
Rosa Brooks, co-organizer of the Transition Integrity Project and a Georgetown University law professor, told Boston Public Radio on Friday the team worked through four scenarios: a big Trump win, a big Biden win, a narrow Biden win, and an election with an extended uncertainty — like in 2000 — and found that every scenario resulted in "a giant mess in the way it played out."
