John King joined Boston Public Radio on Tuesday to provide a status update on the likelihood that Democrats and Republicans in Congress can come together to provide another stimulus package before unemployment benefits expire.

"They're stilll way, way, way, way, way apart on the substance and the price tag," said King.

King is CNN’s chief national correspondent and anchor of Inside Politics. He also discussed other national political headlines, including the impending presidential election.
