Emily Rooney joined Boston Public Radio Friday to discuss billionaire and presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg's edict that his Bloomberg News staff refrain from doing in-depth coverage of any Democrats running for president. Bloomberg has said that his reporters get a paycheck that comes with "restrictions."
Rooney criticized Bloomberg's instructions to his staff, arguing that he should not prevent his staff from freely covering the news.
"That's somebody who shouldn't be running a news organization," said Rooney.
