Immigration advocates have filed a sweeping class-action lawsuit against Immigration and Customs Enforcement, accusing the agency of not providing adequate mental health and medical care to the people they detain.

Ali Noorani, the executive director of the National Immigration Forum, joined Boston Public Radio Thursday to discuss the lawsuit and the conditions immigrants detained by ICE live in.

"This class action lawsuit makes the case that the administration is really putting people in harm's way because we are seeing increased numbers of people detained, but we aren't seeing an increase in services provided," Noorani said.
